ASCCA CONFERENCE An event not to be
An event not to be missed.
Hello and Welcome,
The PC User Group has two very interesting meetings on the one day this week. Details are as follows:
Friday 10 September - Seniors - 9:30am - 12:30pm
At this meeting Peter Collard will continue to discuss freeware sources and introduce a range of portable applications that can be run from a USB drive.
A question and answer session will also be held at the beginning of the meeting.
Friday 10 September - Communications - J. Lucke - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
After lunch the Communications group will take a closer look at the amazing Skype phenomenon.
Skype has over 500 million users worldwide who make use of its free or low cost communications. The service utilizes the internet to allow computer to computer discussions, video calls, telephone calls, conference calls, instance messaging and lots more.
A demonstration will be given on how to set up Skype and communicate between two member's laptops.
The popular question & answer session will also be held at the start of the meeting to answer the troubling issues that arise from time to time for all computer users.
So come along and enjoy one or both of these interesting sessions.
Until next week, health and happiness,
Please remember if your e-mail address is changed for any reason at all, unless you tell me your new address you will not receive these weekly updates! Any change of address should be notified to firstname.lastname@example.org
