Hello and Welcome,
Meetings for the seniors, genealogy researchers and digital photography fans are on offer next week. The details are all here:
Tuesday 20 September - Seniors - G. Grant - 9:30am - 12:30pm
The group will start the meeting with the usual question and answer session, so bring all your queries, questions and computer problems to the meeting.
After the break Graham will demonstrate and talk about the Amazon Kindle3 eReader.
Tuesday 20 September - Genealogy - T. Eakin - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
At this meeting Terry will demonstrate the ORIGINS Internet pay site for Genealogy.
He will cover the United Kingdom version and the IRISH version using the one subscription.
Friday 23 September - Digital Photography - P. Collard
9:30am - 12:30pm
Peter will start the meeting with a review of the photographs of letterboxes taken by members for the month's photo exercise. It will be followed by a question and answer session.
Roger Foulds will then present a review of some wearable cameras that he has been investigating (for those members who have an interest in extreme sports).
While the group is focused on extreme sports, Peter Collard will take the opportunity to seek some comments from members on a waterproof camera that he is proposing to buy for a snorkelling trip to Thailand.
Please remember if your e-mail address is changed for any reason at all, unless you tell me your new address you will not receive these weekly updates! Any change of address should be notified to firstname.lastname@example.org
