Hello and Welcome!,

On very rare occasions SMSA will change the booked room, so members are reminded to check the notice board at the lifts for any changes that may occur.

A reminder about our Membership Officer: Mark Windridge

Mark is still in hospital and unable to post out your usual reminders and renewal forms. During his absence I have volunteered to send out these, so please, if I happen to send out one by mistake, just send me an email and I will check it out for you and rectify any errors.

I'm sure you will all join me in wishing Mark a speedy recovery.

Tuesday 26 May - Main Meeting - 6 pm - 8 pm

Hi everyone, Alex here.

Toshiba Toshiba is coming along to the May Main Meeting of the Sydney PC Users Group to demonstrate their new NB200 Mini Netbook - which only launched yesterday.

Our presenter is Justin White, Toshiba's Product Marketing Manager, who'll be showing off Toshiba's latest and greatest.

Offering some unique features, including special synchronisation software, a FULL SIZED keyboard (something rare in the world of netbooks), a faster 1.66GHz N280 Atom processor, Toshiba's signature "sound volume dial", its "Sleep and Charge USB technology" that works whether the NB200 is plugged into power or not, and features like the "3D-accelerometer" technology to protect the hard drive from bumps and shocks, along with a range of nice colours (and plenty more including webcam, 160GB hard drive and lots more to discover on the night), Toshiba's NB200 is a great little netbook that brings some fresh new challenge to all the netbook competitors out there Toshiba

What's even better than a great presentation from Toshiba? The chance to WIN your very own Toshiba NB200 netbook simply by turning up and buying some raffle tickets! Even I will be buying some tickets in this raffle, I can assure
you! :-)

So... come on down to the May Main Meeting of the Sydney PC Users Group, see your friends, get your questions answered, learn about the new NB200 from Toshiba, be in the raffle for your chance to WIN - and we'll all see YOU there!

Please remember if your e-mail address is changed for any reason at all, unless you tell me your new address then you will not receive these weekly updates! Any change of address should be notified to changedetails@sydneypc.com

So until next week,

Cheers

Elaine
