Hello & Welcome,

This week you will receive an extra newsletter which will contain details of changes to the Web Design SIG for the months of February and March, Peter Collard has put together a comprehensive overview of what one can learn by attending.

Last week it was also announced that the new Smartphone SIG would start in March. It is hoped these additional presentations will be of interest to members.

Saturday 6 February - Penrith - Frank Bowman - 3 pm - 6 pm
St Clair High School, Endeavour Avenue, St Clair

As well as our usual Q and A session around the table, where we share problems, advice and tips, we will spend some time in testing a new $46 Epson multifunction printer, then see if we can construct a simple set of web pages using Microsoft freeware and finally, we'll examine a freeware screen capture program.

Tip of the Week

print_what Print What You Like - Tired of printing web pages only to find your printout is full of ads, empty space and other junk you don't want? PrintWhatYouLike is a free online editor that lets you format any web page for printing in seconds! Click the PrintWhatYouLike button in your bookmarks toolbar. The editor will appear around the page you're on. When you are finished making changes, click the PrintWhatYouLike button again, and the editor will disappear. Only your modified page will remain.YouTube Tutorial
