Monday 8 March - Stocks & Shares - M.Robertson - 5.30pm - 8.30pm

Unfortunately, I have not been given any details on the topic for discussion, so come along and be surprised.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tuesday 9 March - Programming - N. Hoffman - 5.30pm - 8.30pm
At the February meeting Les talked about a computer-controlled milling machine he built from a kit, and showed a video of it cutting various holes in an instrument case. He also showed a low-voltage spotlight he made from an array of 28 white wide-angle LEDs controlled by an Atmel Tiny 45.
Michael showed pictures of a machine he built for automatically making cups of tea, and discussed his problems programming a PIC to run it. Martin talked about the EZ430-Chronos watch available from Farnell.
Come and show your projects, or see some others. Anyone is welcome, and there is no fee for a first time visitor.
Friday 12 March - Seniors - B. Parry - 9.30am - 12.30pm
Among other things Bill wants to mention is another method of finding our 'product keys'; and we might finally get around to organising our 'Favourites'!!
Bill also wants to revisit one of the programs that allow the instantaneous recording of 'ideas...photos...almost any data...and then retrieve the data the same way...instantaneously.
We should have a look at the real Windows 7 Ultimate now installed on 'our' computer (we had to say goodbye to the RC [release candidate] version thanks to Mr. Gates!). I have installed a 'proper paid version of Windows 7 Ultimate' and a few of the necessary utilities one needs to 'survive', so we might have a look at them and our members might suggest and help us install any other apps that they think we should have. Rest easy...we still have the dual boot option with Windows XP!!
And of course Bill is always open to any of our members doing their own thing with some interesting stuff that they may wish to show us or even just tell us about it.
Friday 12 March - Communications - B. Backstrom - 12.30pm - 3.30pm
HomeNetworking
Peter Collard and Bob Backstrom will be demonstrating networking with a cross-over network cable between the Club's computer and a Laptop.
They will be using the current Newsagent's magazine "Home Networking" which features wired as well as wireless networking.
