Hello and Welcome,

Alex has arranged another interesting meeting this month. His message to the group is below.

Tuesday 28 September - MAIN Meeting -  5:30pm - 8:30pm

Acronis will present their latest backup and Internet security software, featuring changes that the Sydney PC User Group members requested at the main meeting presentation given by Acronis on 23 February 2010.

The prime focus of this meeting will be Acronis True Image Home 11, the backup and imaging software that automates the process for you, obliterates the much more basic Windows Backup, gives you a "safe zone" that lets you try new software without risk to your PC. This latest version features a greatly improved new interface and plenty more.

Acronis also have disk director software and technology we'll learn about as
well as an update on Acronis' Internet Security offering that competes with
the suites from the major names we all know.

As usual, there'll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, give more
feedback for future versions and naturally there's the chance to win some
Acronis software prizes on the night!

We'll also have our usual Q&A, interesting sites and more, so please come
along to our September Main Meeting and enjoy the fun, camaraderie and the
learning opportunities the Sydney PC Users Group offers!

See you there,

Alex

PS - Why not bring a friend to the meeting!

Saturday 2 October - Penrith Group  -  F. Bowman - 2:00pm - 5:00pm

The Penrith Group will meet the St Clair High School, Endeavour Avenue, St Clair. The group will hold its regular question and answer session, examine some software and discuss issues of interest to the group at this meeting. Visitors and new members are welcome. So come along and enjoy an interesting afternoon at Penrith.

So until next week, health and happiness,

Cheers,
John M
