Next week we have a meeting of the Penrith
Group.
Here are the details:
Saturday 7 May - Penrith
Group - F. Bowman - 2:00pm - 5:00pm
The group has a few items to discuss from last
month's list and they will complete these before holding the usual
question and answer session around the table.
This month's topics for discussion
are:
- removing red eyes from photos;
- downloading mp3s and videos from YouTube; and
- using Paragon Disk Manager to image C: drive in Vista and Windows 7.

The group will also review some articles from recent computer magazines.
Last month they came across several interesting
articles in a recent issue of the Choice Computer magazine which revealed
that:
- the true cost of ink for inkjet printers can be almost $2000 a litre;
- the Samsung's Galaxy Tab tablet, although not cheap, seems to be a lively competitor for Apple's iPad; and
- the tests carried out by Choice Computer on security suites found Symantec, Kaspersky and AVG ranking at the top of the list.
