Hello and Welcome,

We are pleased to announce the appointment of the following members as the club's office bearers for this year:
President:            Roger Foulds
Vice-President:  Dennis Campanella
Secretary:             John Symonds
Treasurer:            John Lucke.

Next week's SIG meetings are:

Tuesday 17 May - Seniors -  G. Grant - 9:30am - 12:30pm
Graham will start this meeting with the usual question and answer session.

He will follow this with a discussion about Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool.

Graham then proposes to examine an article written by Woody Leonard on Windows 7 software and ask the group if they agree with his conclusions.

Tuesday 17 May - Genealogy -  T. Eakin - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Terry Eakin is still overseas and this month the group will be led by John Shortland.
The topic for discussion at this meeting will be online newspapers as a source for genealogy research.

Saturday 21 May - Web Design -  R. Hume - 1:30pm - 4:30pm
At the April meeting the group discussed why Net Objects Fusion program does not centre pages in Firefox even though they are specified to centre in the program. Tony had the solution for this problem. It includes putting text in the properties window.

The group then upgraded the newsletters from Brent and added the January, March and April newsletters to the web site.

At this month's meeting the group intends to make a topic index to go with the Newsletters.

John
