Hello and Welcome,
Membership Drive
Your Committee has recently approved a promotional voucher in our drive to attract additional club members. The voucher offers four months free membership to our club allowing participants to attend meetings at the standard $5 entry fee during that period. Details and dates of meetings are displayed on the reverse side of the voucher. We would like members to distribute these
vouchers to friends, colleagues and anyone else who might be interested in
becoming permanent members of our club. The vouchers, a copy of which
is reproduced below, will be available at all meetings.
Two meeting of the club will be held next
week.

Peter Collard will lead the group at this meeting.
He will explain how to "Make Life Easier with the 'ANY' Key"
The 'any' key simplified many tasks in the past,
but is seldom used in Windows operating systems. Peter will delve into the modern 'any' keys that simplify
your work. He will demonstrate shortcuts of all types on
keyboards, desktops etc.
Do you know how to get to the Disk Manager or
Device Manager in just one click? This and other miracles of modern
technology will be revealed.
Friday 10 June - Communications
- J. Lucke - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
The significance of e-mail messages may not
have been realized when it was developed but it led to enormous changes in
the way people communicate.
E-mail messages, VOIP, video conferencing, text
messages and social media sites on the Internet are now commonly used all
over the world.
At his meeting the group will discuss
communication problems in a question and answer session and look
at current trends and applications.
