Hello and Welcome,

Next Friday, the Seniors and Communications SIGs will meet for the last time this year and the members will adjourn for lunch at the Star Bar in George Street at 12 noon.  You are welcome to join them for lunch if you are in the city.

Details of the meeting are:

Friday 9 December - Seniors - 9:30am - 12:30pm
The meeting will commence with a question and answer session to resolve any computer problems members might be encountering.

It will be followed by a wide ranging discussion of software programs that are of interest to the group on the day.

It should be a lively session to come along and join in the discussion.

Friday 9 December - Communications -  J. Lucke - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
At this meeting the group will look at the latest file sharing, transferring and synchronizing methods available. This will include a discussion about the ways files can be moved to computers with different operating systems, mobile devices, television sets and web-servers. It is likely that programs such as SyncBack, Total-Commander and WS_FTP will be looked at along the way.

As usual there will be a question and answer session at the beginning of the meeting.

Cheers,
John
