Hello and Welcome,

The Club has a meeting of a Seniors SIG and the Communications SIG on next Friday and details are below:

Friday 9 March - Seniors - 9:30am - 12:30pm
At last month's meeting John Lucke gave a very interesting presentation on how Foxit Reader can be customized.

This month he will look at the program's annotation features and show how they can be used to:
- insert text in PDF forms;
- add comments, highlight text and draw shapes and arrows on documents; and
- insert images and write notes on documents.

There will also be a question and answer session at the meeting to resolve any computer problems members are experiencing.

Friday 9 March - Communications -  J. Lucke - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
The main topic of this meeting will be the National Broadband Network.

With the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) giving its approval for an $11 billion deal between NBN Co and Telstra just a few days ago, it is an appropriate time to take a closer look at what is fact and what is fancy.

As usual, there will be a general discussion and question and answer session at the beginning of the meeting.

Cheers,
John Mathews
