Hello and Welcome,
The Penrith Group always has an impressive range
of activities at their meetings and this month is no exception.
Details are below:
Saturday 3 November - Penrith
Group - F. Bowman - 2:00pm - 5:00pm
At the group's last meeting a brand new hard disk
was formatted into four partitions and Windows 7 was installed on the
first drive. As well, they looked at an Ashampoo freeware program that
automatically produces a slide show, with transitions, when used with a
group of suitable images.
At this meeting the group will:
- use two freeware programs that convert video files from one format to another; - look at some eBook freeware; - use the audio editor Audacity; - add a few paragraphs to a website using HTML code; and - research ways to wirelessly connect a laptop to a television set. If there is time they will use Paragon Disk
Manager to make an image of C drive in a laptop.
The group will also hold a question and answer
session to share problems, advice and tips.
The group meets at St Clair High School, Endeavour
Avenue, St Clair.

Cheers,
John Mathews
