Hello and Welcome,
The Annual
General Meeting of the Sydney PC User Group will be held at the
beginning of the Main Meeting on
Tuesday.
Alex Zaharov-Reutt has made arrangements for
Derek Austin from Nuance Communications to demonstrate two
software programs at the
Main Meeting and Alex's message to members is below:
Tuesday 26 March - MAIN
Meeting - 5:30pm - 8:30pm
It's the
third month of the year, with time tapping into its usual trick of
travelling tremendously fast, alongside the many terrific technological
developments that are likewise rocketing along at warp speed.
Speaking of things technological, something we always do at
SPCUG main meetings, we naturally have an awesome presentation lined up,
one that will be even better than when we were supposed to have it late
last year.
I'm speaking of the Dragon Naturally Speaking presentation, which late last year was in version 12.0, but this year has already been upgraded to an SP1 12.5 edition, boasting even more magic.
Our presenter is the accomplished Derek Austin, Director of Dragon Desktop Solutions for Asia Pacific at Nuance Communications, and he'll be sharing the very latest improvements and perfections made by possible by Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking (DNS) 12.5 for Windows.
DNS 12.5: it's amazing, it's stunning, it's outspoken, it's spoken well of, it excels at Word, it evens works with Windows 8!
Derek will show us all how to get started using Dragon, and he'll also show us the latest PDF Converter Professional 8 software which allows you to create, convert and even edit PDF files – offering better capabilities at an affordable price, which means two presentations for the price of one!
So... hopefully we'll be able to smoothly glide through our AGM section so we can smoothly glide into Derek's best ever presentation-to-be for SPCUG members, and as always... there are two fabulous prizes.
Yes! Derek is very generously donating a copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking 12.5 Premium and a copy of PDF Converter Pro 8, so... if you want to see the future spoken and then converted to PDF, come on down to the March 2013 Main Meeting of the Sydney PC Users Group!
Cheers Alex. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
