Hello and Welcome, Next week's meetings are below. *Tuesday 21 May - Seniors - 9:30am for 10am - 12:30pm* We all use "office" programs for word processing and spreadsheet work and occasionally find it necessary to acquire a new program to do these tasks. At this meeting the group will explore the package of programs that come with the highly regarded free product, Libre Office. There will also be a question and answer session for members and one member will discuss how he went about solving a computer presentation problem. *Tuesday 21 May - Genealogy - T Eakin - 12:30pm for 1pm - 3:30pm* Terry Eakin has just returned from Ireland and he will be at the meeting to talk about his trip and the new databases that are now available on the Internet. Terry will also conduct a question and answer session for members. *Friday 24 May - Digital Photography - 9:30am for 10am - 12:30pm* At last month's meeting one of our members talked about how digital cameras and computer software programs are transforming photographs into works of art. At this meeting the group will explore this proposition further when they review this month's photographic exercise and discuss the ways in which photographs can be analysed and edited.
