Hello and Welcome,
The Penrith Group will meet next Saturday and
details of their meeting are below.
Saturday 7 September - Penrith Group
- F. Bowman - 2:00pm - 5:00pm
The group normally start their meetings with a question and answer
session around the table to enable members discuss problems, advice
and tips.
At their last meeting the group were pleasantly surprised how
well Microsoft's free software, "Image Composite Editor", created
panoramas from individual digital images, and how easy the program was
to use.
They did notice some light join marks on one of the panoramas
and they will attempt to remove these at this meeting using
"Irfanview" or another image editor.
They will also use Ashampoo's free software program
"Slideshow" to create some self-contained slide shows from images and
they will examine the freeware program "WinDirStat", a graphical disk
usage analyser.
The Penrith SIG meets at St Clair High School, Endeavour
Avenue, St Clair.
