Hello and Welcome,

Details of next week's meetings are below.

Tuesday 16 February - Tuesday Forum - 9:30am - 12:30pm
Tim Kelly will look at a range of useful free programs that can improve your computer's performance and safety at this month's meeting.

He will also visit a number of websites that provide useful and sometimes quirky information.

As always there will be a question and answer session at the meeting where members can discuss computer related problems.

Tuesday 16 February - Family History - T Eakin - 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Terry Eakin will show how Google and other search engines can be used for Family History Research at this month's meeting.

Terry has noted that the Roman Catholic registers in the National Library of Ireland have been indexed and a new free online site will be launched on Wednesday 16 March 2016, one day after next month's meeting.

He will discuss how these indexes can be accessed at this meeting.

There will be a question and answer session at the meeting to allow members to discuss any family history issues.

Saturday 20 February - Web Design - S South - 1:30pm - 4:30pm
In what is Part 2 of an Introduction to JavaScript, John Symonds will demonstrate some more snippets of code that can be used to create JavaScript applications at this month's meeting.

He will look at code that will find the largest of five numbers and another that will validate that an e-mail has been entered in a valid format.

There are many useful tutorials on YouTube and the group will look at some of these during the course of the meeting.
