What we did

June 2015

This month we started with a look at a new Web builder. It’s called “WDL Web Site Builder”.
http://www.webdesignland.com/. It has one intriguing inclusion, the integration of Bootstrap, Foundation or Skeleton. It was promated as a Responsive Design builder but our experiments with it showed it had a very steap  learning curve and we had problems get it to function well.

The later half of the afternoon was taken up using a new graphic method of creating sites in Expersion Web 4.

By usiing layers in the design panel you can create a site without much need to refer to the code. Layers are a acually divisions and Expressions creates them using absolute position so they are fixed on the page. As you can add layers within layers or nest them it becomaes a powerful way to create a site.
