What we did

May 2024 : This month we looked at the history of Frameworks.

To quote Geeks for Geeks “Web development frameworks are used in the development of websites and web applications by serving web resources, web services, and APIs to developers. The web development frameworks can be divided into two: Front-end frameworks and Back-end frameworks.”

Some of which we have meet before like Foundation and Bootstrap. After we read through the article we discussed a new Framework called HTMLX.

To quote the site "htmx gives you access to AJAX, CSS Transitions, WebSockets and Server Sent Events directly in HTML, using attributes, so you can build modern user interfaces with the simplicity and power of hypertext". or as the documents say "htmx is a library that allows you to access modern browser features directly from HTML, rather than using javascript."
