This month we took a look at a site sponsored by the Dept of Industry providing free online courses in most computer technologies. It’s called Skill Finder

Skill Finder site

and has courses from beginner to advanced provided by some of the most well-known brands like Microsoft, Adobe, Atlassian, LinkedIn Learning and Udmey

Here are some of the courses we looked at

Web Design with HTML & CSS | Udemy Free Online Course (skillfinder.com.au)

Learn the basics of HTML and CSS with Dash | General Assembly Free Online Course (skillfinder.com.au)

HTML Essential Training | LinkedIn Free Online Course (skillfinder.com.au)

The instructor for this course is Jen Simmons one of the most renowned educators of web development. She has a whole YouTube channel of free tutorials.

Here is one of the more advanced courses run by the Australian firm Atlassian

Use git the Atlassian way

It’s about Git or version control which is used in Bitbucket and GitHub to allow developers to collaborate in software development. We looked at Git in February 2020.

I also found an Instagram post on free courses by Google.
