INFORMATION FOR VISITORS
Hello and welcome. We hope you will find our computer club's website both interesting and helpful so will return often. Please use our resources freely and add our site to your Favourites / Bookmarks list to simplify your return visits.
Browsing alone may be informative, but it's also very lonely. So for a real treat, consider becoming a club member with all the benefits of Meeting, socializing, discussions and learning enjoyed by our enthusiastic special interest groups. You will also enjoy our main monthly Meetings with great presentations by leading computer industry experts on all the latest hardware and software technologies. There's always time for questions, plus there are valuable prizes to be won.
Club fees are minimal and your first Meeting is free, so you are invited to come along and check-out any one of our friendly Meetings - we feel sure you'll be keen to return.
Who we are
The Sydney PC User Group is an independent club of PC users in Sydney Australia, broadening their knowledge about computer hardware and software programs and also helping each other resolve any computer problems they may encounter.
Sydney Club Facilities
We meet on the 1st Floor of the Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts Building, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney, close to Sydney Town Hall, bus and rail transport. Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) meet in the comfortable, conference style Woolley Room. Here, the club has Microsoft Windows running on a desktop computer plus a digital projector housed in a mobile cabinet and access to broad-band internet.
Our Main Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6 pm to 8 pm in the spacious 1st Floor Auditorium. The Auditorium has excellent sound and visual systems plus computer with ADSL internet access for use by the computer industry presenters. Guest presenters may of course connect using their own laptops as well.
Access
The modern building is wheel-chair friendly with two lifts servicing all levels. Quality kitchen and toilet facilities are available on every floor. Please note that at certain times, 1st floor access may not be available until 30 minutes before the scheduled Meeting times.
Penrith Club Facilities
The Penrith Club meets at St. Clair High School, Endeavour Avenue St. Clair, on the First Saturday of each month except during school holidays.
